Licenses
Why is licensing important? Licensing allows you, as a doctor or clinic, to order
from a single source which is regulated and inspected by the federal and state government. BRP has
gone to great effort to qualify for and sustain many licenses which our
competitors do not have.
BRP is licensed and regulated by the following:
Federal Agencies
FDA: Our registration can been seen at :
BRP At FDA.
We have both a site license and label license with the branch at
Bethesda, Maryland.
DEA: We are permitted to distribute Class 2,3,4 and 5. It is very
unusual for a packager which serves physicians to be granted a license to
distribute
Class 2 Pharmaceuticals. The granting of this license by the Drug Enforcement Agency
represents the diligence by which we adhere to all government regulations. For security
reasons, we are not allowed to display our DEA license on the WEB.
State Of California
Department of Health Service: This is the agency which regulates
drug manufacturing in the State of California. Their very exacting
requirements to track and monitor the packaging of pharmaceuticals are followed to the letter by
BRP and the steps we take are outlined in our Procedures Guide. All technicians
are require to learn the steps in the guide before being allow to process any productions.
Board of Pharmacy: This agency regulates the distribution of our
finished goods like injectables.
